Maaruvom Maatruvom (a charitable trust run by actor Aari) in partnership with Ms. Priyanka, organised a Guinness World Record event called "Naanum Oru Vivasayi" on 29th August 2017 at Avaniyur - Nallanilam near Dhindivanam. The record was achieved with 2683 participants by planting 5366 saplings, two saplings each. Students from Sathyabama and J.P.R colleges along with a lot of other people. This team has broken China's record in which 2017 people participated.
On the big event, the crowd was cheered by the Tamil folk singer, Chinnaponnu along with Parai dancers. Stunt master Mr. Pandian's Silambattam team entertained the crowd.
Padma Shri Dr. Kamal Hassan inaugurated the event with a press meet. Priyanka and her team received the Guinness certificate from actor Aari on the month of November 2018 for their achievement.
